Welcome! Here you will find a selection of fine quality, contemporary watercolor and ink paintings and sculptures. These works have been inspired by the arts of Japan, China and Korea and by the traditions of Zen and Taoism.

Asian art often displays a beautiful balance between power and serenity. Soft, flowing shapes balanced with strength and structure. Trees are like this, as are waterfalls, rivers and rock formations. Art created in this way is a reflection of the artists' desire to be an expression of nature. They recognize and celebrate the immense creative Intelligence of nature and wish to be a vessel for it, an aspect of it. In order to become this vessel they must attune themselves with nature. The more of their limited, desirous, controlling self they can release identification with, the purer the unlimited, unfettered creative energies can work through them, allowing the artwork to be a beautiful expression of that harmony and Oneness.
